MDReady helps minimize the mystery in your journey by clearing the path to a rewarding medical career in three easy steps.
Step 1
Apply and be accepted into the MDReady Program.
Step 2
Successfully complete the 16-week trial period with a passing average score greater than 65 across the first four exams of Term 1.
Step 3
Gain full admission to SGU’s MD4 program and continue your journey with confidence.
Your Questions, Covered
Is there any cost during the trial period?
You will be responsible for the cost of books, travel, lodging, food, and health insurance.
Am I eligible for loans during the trial period?
Not initially, because you are not considered a typical student for federal or Canadian financial aid eligibility during the MDReady trial period. However, upon successful completion of the 14-week trial, you will become eligible for these loans for the entire trial period and the remainder of Term 1, which runs a total of 18 weeks.
Will my peers know I’m part of the MDReady program?
No, MDReady students are never identified to faculty or fellow students, so you can explore your path privately.
