Dr Farah Mohammed earned her DVM from the University of the West Indies in 2018. Prior to joining SGU in Fall of 2022, she worked as a small animal clinician, she also worked in a wildlife reserve for 6 months back home in Trinidad, where she was dubbed “The camel whisperer”.

At SGU, she currently conducts veterinary anatomy labs as well as lectures in the Biomedical pre-veterinary program as well as the veterinary professionalism courses. She is also a faculty advisor for the SVM Housing system as well as the Student Government Association. Her research interests lay within the Anatomical and Pharmacological field and hopes to obtain a Master’s degree in either.

Outside of school Dr. Mohammed maintains a balanced life by spending time with her family, her beloved pets as well as collect and read Batman comic books.
