    Dr. Arlette Herry serves as assistant dean of multicultural affairs, responsible for creating processes to enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion in the School of Medicine. She is also ombudsperson at St. George’s University and assistant professor of behavioral sciences in the Department of Physiology, Neuroscience and Behavioral sciences.

    Prior to her current role at SGU, Dr. Herry worked as combined degree coordinator in the premedical program, and director of academic advising, development, and support services. Her areas of research and expertise include stress management, managing chronic illnesses, and working with older adults and families.

    Dr. Herry earned her doctoral degree and Master of Philosophy in health psychology at Walden University in Minnesota after receiving her Bachelor of Science in psychology and biology and her master’s in clinical psychology at Midwestern State University in Texas.

    Dr. Herry is also a member of the American Psychological Association (APA), the Grenadian Psychological Association (GPA), and the American Aging Association (AGE).
