    Dr. Marancik joined St. George’s University in 2016 and is currently Assistant Professor at the Junior Surgery and Anesthesia Laboratory in the Department of Small Animal Medicine and Surgery. Her clinical interests include soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, and canine and feline behavior. From 2016-2021, she was a clinician at the SGU Small Animal Clinic.

    Prior to joining SGU, Dr. Marancik worked as both a general practitioner and emergency veterinarian in several practices from Virginia to Maine.

    Dr. Marancik received her Bachelor of Science at the College of Charleston in 2007 before earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree at the University of Georgia in 2011. In 2012, she completed a small animal internal medicine and surgery rotating internship at Carolina Veterinary Specialists.
